Claire Paquette
Director of Operations and Logistics for an industry leading apparel company, I bring 15 years of experience in analytics, communication, and problem solving.
My background
Hello, I'm Claire Paquette, a full-time working mother raising two young children (3) and (5), alongside my husband James. We're committed to providing our family with a fulfilling life in the charming community of Larkspur, California.
Having grown up in Greenbrae (incorporated Larkspur) and attended Bacich, Kent, and Redwood High School, I've cultivated deep ties to the local area. My high school rowing career with Marin Rowing further strengthened my connection to this community.
Witnessing the positive changes in Larkspur, such as the growth in commerce, expanded bike paths, and improved parks, has inspired me to contribute to the town's ongoing development.
I'm running for city council with a specific focus – to represent the interests of young families. Understanding the unique needs and challenges we face, I am dedicated to ensuring Larkspur remains an ideal place for families to thrive. Let's work together to sustain the positive momentum and make Larkspur an even better place for generations to come.
Education and Work Experience
I graduated from University of Wisconsin, Madison with a Bachelor of Science, and Received an A.A. from F.I.T. in New York.
I entered the apparel industry in product development, but after observing process inefficiencies along the way I quick pivoted to Operations where I could streamline workflows and build tools to make jobs more simple. I love working with people, hearing what they would like fixed, and putting process to action.
Personal Interests
When I am not chasing my 3 and 5 year old, I enjoy riding my Peleton, needle pointing (I just finished my daughter’s stocking in time for Christmas), Hiking with my family, and reading.
I am a supporter of “Moms Demand Action” group to end gun violence in our schools. I have attended rallies in San Francisco and meetings in Marin.
I just completed my first 3-Day 60-Mile Susan G Komen walk for Breast Cancer fundraising, and plan to do many more.
